Business Development Manager

Job Role

A well-established company with a national footprint and frontier technology, who prides itself on excellent customer service and brand adoption is looking for a Business Development Manager to identify suitable corporate businesses and introduce them to our proprietary business solutions in the Business to Consumer market (Open A.P.I). The business development manager will develop relationships with relevant retail partners and app developers in the mobile space and to demonstrate to them how FLASH services can help solve their business problems and grow their customer base.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong technical sales background with a minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in a Business Development role within the IT industry
  • Proven experience working with ecommerce companies, online retailers and multilevel marketing businesses
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Grade 12
  • Well dressed
  • Read, speak and write in English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willing to travel
  • Must be sales-driven, money-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic

  • To identify suitable corporate businesses for introduction of our proprietary business solutions
  • Present opportunities to up-sell Flash business solutions
  • Maintain productive, professional relationships with key individuals both internally and Collaborate with departments to ensure quality standards are delivered to enhance corporate experience
  • Determine new solutions and provide process improvement feedback to the product management, engineering, and marketing teams
  • Produce and action a corporate business sales plan to drive agreed sales for FLASH services Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team
  • Analyze performance and implement initiatives to grow base
