Lulama Ntengiswayo: A Story of Motivation
Before I joined FLASH, I was a 38-year old disabled female, who had never been employed. I was referred to FLASH by a disabled recruitment agency for a possible Learnership.
I was so happy when I received a call from Greg Higgs inviting me to an interview. I went to the interview not knowing the outcome, but I was really hoping to be successful.
The day I received a call to confirm my acceptance to the Leadership was the day that my whole life changed! I am now independent and able to provide for my family.
When the Leanership was completed, FLASH employed me permanently and I’m now completing the NQF Level 3 Learnership to further build my qualifications.
FLASH has equipped me with computer skills to enable me to draft well-written emails and capture data. I can also provide excellent customer service through attentive listening and clear communication.
The people I’ve worked with because of FLASH have really helped to build my self-esteem.
The opportunities I’ve had because of FLASH made me realise that nothing is impossible to those who believe!
