Senior Technical Product Manager

About the role


FLASH requires an experienced  Product Manager to Focus on transforming internal technical systems & products into a highly integrated, optimized, and best-in-class platform.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field – Degree/Diploma
  • System architecting experience
  • Sound understanding of system architecture and technology standards
  • Previous experience in the informal retail market will be an advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Agile experience is beneficial but not essential


Role Specific requirements: 

  • Relevant system architecting experience with a strong knowledge of Point of Sales hardware and software systems
  • Experience in systems innovation
  • Experience defining the system architecture and technology standards for enterprise integration across the organization
  • Understanding and appreciation of the software and product development lifecycle
  • Experience of working in agile development environments

  • Work closely with Tech to define the technical and architectural roadmap for internal operations
  • Work with internal business teams to design and implement operational systems
  • Aligned to our strategy and requirements – manage the delivery of this roadmap accordingly
  • Articulating a vision and roadmap for how Internal systems should evolve and grow in order to provide greater levels of efficiency and automation across our staff
  • Working with key stakeholders across teams in order to manage existing systems and to drive further innovation and improvement
  • Responsible for designing, managing and servicing the systems related to internal business applications and operations
  • Analyse which systems are used, how they integrate and how they deliver an effective service delivery.
  • Managing the change associated with system improvements.
  • Provide a vision for how the Internal applications can be used to help support internal teams in their day to day roles
