Operation Smile

Operation Smile is a volunteer-based NPO that offers free surgeries to repair cleft conditions in children and young adults.

They also help educate communities about the stigma associated with cleft conditions and provide free training on healthcare within these underserved communities, offering life-changing interventions to those who need them the most. To date, we have sponsored 3 surgical missions and funded over 44 surgical procedures.

Children's lives changed

Ingane YamiChildren’s Village

Ingane Yami is a permanent, loving home for orphaned and vulnerable children, located just outside of Durban in the Shongweni Valley.

The village consists of individual homes that are overseen by carefully selected foster mothers, while the wider village includes a pastor, support team, and a school with a team of qualified teachers. This ensures that children at Ingane Yami have their emotional, spiritual, educational and physical needs met. Ingane Yami rewrites stories.

They aim to: Rescue a child. Restore a life. Rebuild a family. Release a leader.

Flash provides funding to support the growth, development and maintenance of the homes and facilities in the Ingane Yami village and the projects they are working on.
