RICA at Flash to connect your sim card

There are a few documents you need to take to your local Flash shop when you want to buy and RICA your sim card.
What to bring to RICA:
Your identity document (SA ID, Valid Passport, or Valid Refugee document).
Proof of residence:
Residential or employment address.
Bank statement (not older than 3 months).
Rates and/or electricity account (not older than 3 months).
Phone account (not older than 3 months).
TV licence (current).
Insurance policy (current).
Lease agreement (current).
New vehicle licence agreement.
If in informal settlement: Please provide address of nearest school or community centre/church/retail store/where you normally receive your post. An affidavit is also acceptable if the above is not available.
Sim card serial number.
The RICA process
Buy your sim card at your local Flash shop (or take an old one that’s not registered for RICA)
Ask your Flash merchant to process payment for your sim card and RICA it.
Hand them the required documents.
They’ll use them to register your sim card for RICA through their Flash machine.
